"Not a great first experience. I ordered 3 Lunchtime special fish and chip rolls. I got home to find out there was no fish in them.. disappointing. Update. The lovely lady replaced my order and apologized as they were very busy. Lovely people and excellent food. I will definitely be back."

"Hidden Gem in Bothasig – Worth the Drive! I stumbled upon Manie’s Fish and Chip Shop while driving through Bothasig yesterday in search of a quick lunch, and WOW, did they exceed every expectation I had of a traditional fish and chip shop. Even more impressive, they’ve only been open just over 10 days! I ordered the hake burger and chips for just R55, and it was outstanding. The hake was cooked to perfection, the portion was incredibly generous, the garnish fresh and crisp, and the chips were exactly what you’d hope for from a proper chippy. What made the experience even better were the owners, Christelle and AJ. They were unbelievably welcoming and friendly as we chatted about their journey and the story behind the shop. That personal touch really sets this place apart. This is the kind of spot I’m more than happy to go a little out of my way for, and I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. Will take a pic next time I am there and post, just ate it too fast for a photo ;-} Highly recommended!"
